Personal Care Supplies is a website owned and managed by GP Supplies Limited. All orders received from this website will be fulfilled by GP Supplies Limited.

 

These terms and conditions shall apply to all orders for goods received from GP Supplies Limited (GPS). No other conditions whether or not inconsistent with these conditions shall apply. It is very important that you read and understand them. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Acceptance of Orders
All orders are accepted by GPS subject to these conditions of sale. No variation of these conditions will be accepted unless previously agreed in writing by the CEO or the Managing Director of GPS. Orders will only be binding upon receipt of written confirmation from GPS, who reserves the right to refuse any order. In the event of any pricing error occurring within this website, within any fax or e-mail correspondence however received, all incomplete orders shall be deemed void.

 

Customer’s Authority
Customers entering into transactions with GPS expressly warrant that they are authorised to accept and are accepting these conditions not only for themselves but also as agents for and on behalf of all other persons who are, or may become, interested in GPS’s goods or products, whether in whole or part. Prescription only Pharmaceuticals can only be purchased by registered doctors and others licensed to possess and use them in the course of their business.

 

Payment
We accept payment through credit/debit cards. If you are shopping from outside the Euro zone, place your order and your credit card company or bank will convert the transaction to your own currency. If you don't want to pay by credit or debit card, then just place your order, print out the order form e-mailed to you and send it to us with a cheque made payable to "GP Supplies Limited". We accept cheques in Euros and £ Sterling. All customers must pay by credit/debit card in advance when placing an order.

 

All orders for goods are subject to stock availability. If we do not supply goods to you for any reason, we will inform you of the situation and will not charge you for those goods, and will refund any money already paid by you for these goods. We are not liable for any financial loss incurred by you relating to interest payments, or loss of earnings, or similar gains you would have received on monies paid to us in lieu of an un-fulfilled order.

 

Credit Card Security
GPS uses a secure server for credit card payment. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128-bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on our website and we do not have access to your card details.

 

Prices
All prices quoted or displayed are in GB Pounds and shall be the price excluding of VAT and delivery, set out on the website at the time your order is placed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in, or the imposition of new taxes or duties. If due to an error or omission the price published for the goods on our website is wrong, we have the right to terminate an order provided the goods have not been dispatched. We will try to ensure that all prices displayed on our website are accurate, but should an error occur, we would inform you of the correct price and give you an opportunity to cancel the order. Please note that the prices quoted are subject to availability and GPS reserves the rights to refund the payments to you if the database processes your order in error. Every effort will be made to maintain a stable supply and pricing policy subject to market conditions and variations. Care has been taken to convey the exact details specifications as per the manufacturer’s literature. GPS reserves the right to alter details and specifications without notice explanation or notification.

 

GPS reserves the right to cancel or amend any order, once accepted, without penalty. The customer may cancel an order without penalty only before we have processed it. Where such cancellation or amendment is accepted it is on the understanding that a cancellation or amendment charge may be levied.

 

Retention of Title
All goods supplied by GPS to the customer shall remain the property of GPS until such time as GPS receives payment in full for the goods and of all other moneys due to the due to GPS from the customer. Until such payment as aforesaid is received, the separate identity of those goods shall be maintained by the customer. After delivery of the goods to the customer or his nominated sub-purchaser, the goods shall be at the customer’s risk and the customer shall insure those goods against loss or damage.

 

Until such time as title in the goods shall pass to the customer in accordance with the foregoing provisions, GPS shall be entitled at any time to repossess the goods whether with or without notice and GPS and its employees or agents shall have the right at any time to enter upon the premises of the customer for the purpose of effecting such repossession.

 

GPS is not be liable to you for any failure or delay in performance of our contract, if it is due to an event beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, acts of God, war, industrial dispute, fire, flood, tempest and national emergencies and if so delayed we shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of time for performing such obligations.

 

Goods are supplied according to the descriptions and specifications given by the manufacturer. GPS and its employees or agents are not authorised to make any representations concerning the goods unless strictly confirmed in writing. In entering into this agreement you acknowledge that you do not rely on any such representation to complete your purchase with us. We make no warranty as the suitability of any goods for any particular purpose.

 

Deliveries
Every effort will be made to supply orders promptly. GPS will not accept responsibility for suspension or delay in deliveries or for the consequences thereof. In general the price quoted is for delivery to the reception desk and/or ground floor at the stated delivery address. We use Royal Mail, Parcel Force and ANC Express to deliver our goods. A signature will be required at the time of delivery. GPS will not accept responsibility for suspension or delay in deliveries nor for the consequences thereof once the goods have left our premises by any of our nominated carriers.

 

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

 

Receipt of Goods
Goods should be signed for as “unexamined”. It is the responsibility of the recipient at the customers’ premises or on behalf of the customer to count and check that all boxes and goods that are delivered are as per the accompanying delivery note. Any damages or shortages must be reported immediately by phone and in writing within THREE working days of delivery, otherwise no claim will be considered. The complete packaging must be retained if pilfering is suspected or if breakage has occurred. Shortfalls cannot be rectified if these procedures are not strictly adhered to.

 

Non-Delivery
An invoice is sent separately, a day after the goods have been dispatched. Most of our goods are dispatched on a next day basis. In the event of non-arrival of goods, customers must inform GPS within FIVE days of the invoice date, otherwise no claim will be considered.

 

Proper Law
All contracts made with GPS shall be governed by and construed according to the English Law and the purchaser submits to the jurisdiction of the English courts. These terms of trade will prevail over any conditions that shall be issued by the customer. The customer should not rely on any representations made by staff as they do not form part of the contract or collateral contract.

 

E&OE
Any typographical, clerical other omissions or errors however made, in any of GPS’s literature, quotations, price lists, invoices or any other documents or information supplied by the company shall be subject to correction without any liability on the company's part.
